01The short version
Ansa answers phone calls for your business. To do that, we process the audio of those calls, transcripts of what was said, and contact details like phone numbers and names. We use that information to answer, book, and follow up on calls for you, and for nothing else.
We do not sell call data. We do not use your calls or transcripts to train third-party AI models. You can delete any call or your entire history at any time.
02Who this covers
This policy covers Ansa Technologies, Inc. (Ansa, we, us) and the people who interact with our service: business customers who use Ansa, and the callers who reach a business through an Ansa line.
If you are a caller and want your information removed, ask the business you called, or email privacy@ansaassist.com and we will help.
03Call recordings and transcripts
When Ansa answers a call, we process the call audio in real time to understand and respond. We create a transcript and a short summary so you can see what happened.
Call audio, transcripts, and summaries are encrypted in transit and at rest. We retain them only for the period you choose in your settings. When that period ends, or when you delete a call, the records are removed from active systems and purged from backups on our normal cycle.
Where the law requires call participants to be notified that a call is handled by an automated assistant, Ansa can play a short disclosure at the start of the call. You control this in your settings, and you are responsible for meeting the recording and disclosure laws in your area.
04Information we collect
Account information: your name, business name, email, and billing details.
Call information: audio, transcripts, summaries, caller phone numbers, and appointment details created during calls.
Usage information: how you use the dashboard, and basic device and log data we need to keep the service secure and reliable.
05How we use information
To provide the service: answer calls, book appointments into your calendar, send text-backs, and show you summaries and transcripts.
To support and improve reliability: diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and keep your line answering. Any internal quality work uses the minimum data needed and is access-controlled.
To bill you and communicate about your account. We do not use call content for advertising, and we never sell it.
06Sharing
We share information only with service providers who help us run Ansa (for example, telephony, cloud hosting, and payment processing), under contracts that require them to protect it and use it only for us.
We may share information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety and rights of people and the service. If Ansa is ever involved in a merger or acquisition, we will require the successor to honor this policy.
07Your choices and rights
You can access, export, or delete call records from your dashboard. You can delete your account, which removes your data on our standard schedule.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information, and to object to certain processing. Email privacy@ansaassist.com and we will act on valid requests.
08Security
We use encryption, access controls, and monitoring to protect your data. No system is perfect, but reliability and privacy are the core of what we sell, so we treat them that way.
09Changes and contact
If we make a material change to this policy, we will tell you before it takes effect. Questions or requests go to privacy@ansaassist.com.
